Pharmacy Technicians. The pharmacy technician career is ranked number 60 among the 100 fastest-growing jobs in the United States and 19 th among the 500 best jobs for people with a conventional personality type. According to the US Bureau of Labor Statistics , the pharmacy technician career is growing at approximately 30 percent, a much higher rate than other jobs in the health professions . This equates to more than 39,000 pharmacy technician job openings available every year.
Respiratory Therapy Aides have very minimum patient contact. They provide assistance to respiratory technicians in the maintenance and sterilization of the equipment used in respiratory therapy. They are also involve in the record keeping associated with the therapy.
Physical Therapist Aides work under the direct supervision of a physical therapist or physical therapist assistant. Their responsibility includes: keeping the treatment area clean and organized; prepare each patient for therapy; and assist in patient's transport.
Home Health Aide. The Home Health Aide Program is a 40 hour course consisting of theory, skills, and clinical portion. The course is designed to prepare a student to provide personal care, client ambulation and exercise, assistance with client medication, reporting changes in client condition and client needs, documentation of clinical reports, and homemaking skills. Clinical experience in facilities will be towards the end of the program. Certificate will be issued after the completion of the program.
